I don’t know who you are, but I praise you for being a bastion of sense. You are a true American.

The media outlets were interested in “Joe the Plumber” exactly because of the emphasis he got during the last debate. Is it Obama’s fault the media found out that “Joe the Plumber” is neither
1. A licensed plumber.
2. Not even close to buying the business.
3. Not even named Joe.
4. Not paying the taxes he was supposed to pay.
Is it “attacking the middle-class” to simply point those things out?
To tell you the truth, I don’t blame “Joe” the “Plumber”. I blame the McCain advisors for running such a shoddy campaign that they would put their canidate up on national television to use an “Aha” attack tactic that was never researched.
I also don’t think that people who have fundamental policy disagreements with Obama and his supporters are racist. I do think that they play the “reverse racism” card to cover up the logic holes in their arguments. It’s an intellectual crutch.

There are no “logical holes” in Democracy, darling. There is nothing democratic about redistribution of wealth (which is exactly what he is doing, I don’t care what kind of wording you want to throw on top of it.) He is a socialist. Period. He ran under the Socialist New Party. He has upheld these beliefs for a long period of time, his family has a history of it, and all those close to him are in the same boat. I have posted a (quite scary) video of him belting out opinions that put him comfortably in the league with Karl Marx.
I don’t give a shit who Joe is, or what kind of dirt has been dug up on him. He was asking a valid question. Whether it applies to him, or not- it applies to MANY small business owners (including my family). You fail to see the forest for the trees in this matter. It’s not about whether his name is really Joe or not. What it IS about, is that small businesses are the heart of TRUE America, and Obama’s tax proposals could very well dash the hopes of many people who want to buy these businesses, or injure the finances of people who already own them. The man simply asked a question, which clearly really, really got to Obama. And, the sneering Elitist that he is, he ventured out to dig up as much dirt on the man as possible, in an attempt to discredit the man’s question- to make it look irrelevant…and than proceeded to make jokes about the guy, like his concerns were something to be laughed about. I’m uninterested in seeing that man hold the highest office of the land.
And “Reverse Racism”? Really? What the hell is that exactly? There is so much political correctness flowing about, that it’s melting my head. You’ll have to fill me in on this one.
So, there is nothing logical enough about our Constitution, to defend it against Obama’s socialist tendancies? Look, I don’t even need to call foul on this. It’s blatantly obvious that racism is being used as a political battering ram by the Obama campaign. If it weren’t, “racism” would barely be an issue. Nobody on McCain’s side has mentioned race (I challenge you to find an example.) They’ve identified his ties with muslim extremists…but, facts are facts…doesn’t matter who’s involved in them or what their religious beliefs are.
You care to see what the power of the race card is capable of? :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwame_Kilpatrick
Read a little about our boy Kwame. He was so COCKY and indescriminante in his use of the race card, and held a position of power enough to do damage with it. He reminds me a lot of our man, Obama.
I really think what it boils down to, is people need to realize that the constitution is not concerned with GIVING people anything. It’s concerned with protecting people from their government. Socialism is one of the things it safeguards against. High taxes (remember the Boston Tea Party?) were one of the reasons people LEFT England in the first place, my friend.
I think it’s time for people to stop putting their hands in other’s pockets, live within their means, and vote according to the tenants of their own government.
We don’t need anymore “change”…we just need someone who will actually follow the rules. A leader is not a dictator, and is not someone who doles out rules according to his wishes. He is merely someone who steers the country in a favourable direction (according to the Constitution). All of the rules and information we need was lain before us by our founding fathers. I say, instead of instituting all of this insane Euro Socialist rhetoric, we just manage the government how we pledged we would as Americans.
